 Post subject: help hardware [IBM 9114-275]

Hi people, is there someone that tell me about intellistation 275 with power4+ cpu? i have buy that ibm machine and it come without HDD and operative system.
i have a little knowledge on Linux (my notebook PIII run on WinXPpro and on a partition under Ubuntu last version, i work the winXP) and i found the cruxppc on google searching...some question now:

1 - have the AIX 5L a simple GUI like KDE or Gnome?
2 - What is the X windows , is right for the power4+ cpu?
3 - that 275-machine work like the Apple systems?

The IBM 9114-275 (IBM Intellistation POWER 275) is equipped with SCSI Ultra320 SCA80 disks but you needs IBM F22870 hdd trays to install them.

CRUX PPC is targeted to experienced users thus the installation process it's not so trivial... It works quite good on pseries machines.
CRUX PPC provides Fluxbox as standard window manager but you can easily install Openbox and others ones using CRUX (main project) repositories.
To have a real nice desktop experience on those workstations you need AIX from IBM.
