Im trying to use MineOS CRUX, i know there is a MineOS+(and its easier to set up) but I have a Apple G4 PPC for my server. MineOS is a linux distro for a Minecraft
server. The installation iso I found here
is built on normal CRUX. I want the OS on my PPC to have MineOS, no gui/desktop, and have ssh, html, and a few other things needed for MineOS(well, more like a bunch but there is this
. They have a MineOS CRUX wiki here
. I will compile the kernel if needed but have no other computer to run CRUX on(but i do have Mac OS X(with X11) and Ubuntu on my laptop)and i think i can compile the kernel on those but would need a VERY detailed guide and/or help to do so. Im a coder(apps) and know basic commands for linux and darwin(Mac OSX).
Also, when I try to mount my / partition without -t type(used mac-fdisk(c so it gives you a 'normal' linux partition(whatever that means))), other FS, or stuff from the partition table it says wrong type or something like can't read block.
I think I would just be able to merge(mostly) the isos and use that, correct me if I'm wrong.
Any help would be appreciated(a lot).
